Chris Webster and Tracy Walton have been a magical duo vocal presence over the years fronting Mumbo Gumbo , finding ways to blend Webster's smoky, beguiling voice with Walton's joyful pop/rock vocals into something even better than each of them alone. Tracy Walton and Bill Edwards were together in Way Out West in the 80s and 90s. They will all be playing acoustic versions of Mumbo Gumbo originals and well chosen covers.www.chriswebstermusic.com |

Led Kaapana's mastery of stringed instruments, particularly slack key guitar, and his extraordinary baritone and leo ki`eki`e (falsetto) voices, have made him a musical legend. He has been thrilling audiences for more than 40 years. With easy-going style and kolohe (rascal) charm, he has built a loyal corps of Led Heads from Brussels to his birthplace on the Big Island of Hawaii. Recognition by his peers earned Led 4 Grammy nominations in his own right and 2 wins on slack key compilations. Mike Kaawa is one of Hawai‘i's finest 12-string guitar players and is a highly regarded musician. Mike describes his music as “Hawaiian with Attitude”. With four of the most
popular female Americana performers in the area, Henhouse delights their
fans with their engaging stage presence, upbeat songs, and stellar harmonies.
The band consists of Sherry Austin on rhythm guitar and vocals,
Sharon Allen on vocals and guitar, Tracy Parker on bass and
vocals, and Santa Cruz steel legend, Patti Maxine on lap steel, dobro,
and vocals. Their music covers the range from sweet love songs to gritty,
rockin' songs about cars, trains, and love gone wrong. It consists of originals
by Sherry and Sharon, as well as much loved covers by Americana artists, such
as Kate Wolf, Townes Van Zandt, and Nanci Griffith. The blend of
harmonies between the four women is exquisite. Singing with authority and
passion, their distinctive blend of folk, country and rock is filled with
warmth and conviction. All four also play in various other bands covering folk,
swing, blues, and Hawaiian genres.

Houston Jones is a
high-energy quintet of acoustic musicians who play an original blend of folk,
blues, bluegrass and gospel. They are long time favorites of Fiddling Cricket
audiences, having played for us since their inception in 2002. The band
consists of Waybacks cofounder and original guitarist, Glenn
Houston; the vocals and guitar of Travis Jones; Henry Salvia
on keyboard and accordion, Chris Kee on standup bass and Peter Tucker
on percussion (both also former members of the Waybacks).Though all the
band members are resident in the Bay Area, they originate from all over the US
and have about 150 years of collective professional music experience! What
separates Houston Jones from similar style bands is the quality of the
songwriting, with great hooks and melodies, making for exciting, high octane,
Americana.

Amy LaVere is a spitfire American singer, songwriter, upright bass player and actress based in Memphis, Tennessee. Her music is classified as Americana, combining a blend of classic country, gypsy jazz, rockabilly, and southern soul. She has appeared in the movies Walk The Line, Black Snake Moan and A Fine Step . Carolyn Sills writes and performs original music with guitarist Gerard Egan. They are heavily influenced by their vinyl record collection and enjoy performing western music - western swing, country western, west coast blues, spaghetti westerns and more. Topher Gayle on guitar, mandolator, and tenor banjo, Chris Finn on
bass and mandolin, and Louisa Knabe on fiddle. Sometimes all three play
ukuleles! The fare is an eclectic mix of styles, with a lot of humor, fine
harmony singing, and hot solos from Topher.
