For 20 years and 5 albums she anchored the band with her luminous voice and original compositions. The band was one of the first to incorporate swing, Latin and other folk musics into bluegrass. In 1996 the Kathy Kallick Band was formed. In addition to the two albums the band released Kathy has 4 other solo albums and a collaboration with Laurie Lewis. The current line-up is Kathy (vocals and rhythm guitar), Tom Beckany (mandolin and vocals), Dan Booth (double bass and vocals), Greg Booth (dobro, banjo and vocals) and Annie Staninec, who tears it up on fiddle and vocals. Richard Gilewitz, virtuoso fingerstyle 6 and 12 string guitarist and composer, is known for his idiosyncratic style and zany outlook on life. He takes us through samples of European, Contemporary, and Spanish classical works to the Traditional Folk, Blues and American Primitive eras - all adapted for the acoustic steel string guitar and incorporating his own arrangements and personality. Richard has shared stages with the likes of John Renbourn, John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Greg Brown and others. He has recorded 5 solo CDs. One of his songs, "Echoing Wilderness" was covered by Leo Kottke, who renamed it "Echoing Gilewitz". Richard's command of both 6 and 12 string guitar, his zany humor and performance style make him the essential "alternative player". He is based in Florida, but tours extensively and internationally. http://www.richardgilewitz.com/

"His playing is faultless, the production as clear as a pinged champagne glass"" - SeeLife, Brighton, UK

"…I tried flatpicking, but the pick kept falling in the hole..." - Richard Gilewitz

"A powerhouse of eclectic guitar styles and genres..." - 20th Century Guitar

The arrangements are always surprising and include instruments from many countries such as violin, flamenco and gypsy jazz guitar, shamisen, bass, saw and voice. From the smokey cafes of Bucharest to the Gypsy caravans of yesterday, Fishtank Ensemble evokes the spirit of a past age with the sounds of tomorrow. Fishtank Ensemble formed around the arrival in our midst of the gifted young fiddler Fabrice Martinez. Originally from France , he has spent the last seven years traveling around Europe in a mule-drawn caravan learning and playing folk music with the ensemble Croque Mule. Much of that time was spent living in Romania , often in Romani (Gypsy) villages. Artist sites and sounds: www.fishtankensemble.com

For forty years, Paul Geremia has survived solely by the fruit of his musical labors. Having abandoned all other means of support in 1966, he has been traveling far and wide ever since throughout the U.S.A. , Canada and Europe . In the years since, Geremia has built a reputation as a first rate bluesman, songwriter, a "scholar" of early blues, and one of the best country blues fingerpickers ever with his tools - six and twelve-string guitars, harmonica and a husky soulful voice - and with an innate sense of the humor as well as the drama of the music, he keeps traditional blues fresh and alive with his performances. Combining his interpretation of Blind Lemon Jefferson, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Scrapper Blackwell and Blind Blake, with his original compositions, he has created a style which is very much his own and which has received accolades in the U.S.A. and Europe, too numerous to mention.

Eric Thompson’s earliest bands were the Black Mountain Boys (with Jerry Garcia and David Nelson) and Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions. He quickly became nationally known as an exceptional lead flatpicker, winning the World Championship Cup at Union Grove , North Carolina with the New York Ramblers (with David Grisman). Eric & Suzy are pleased to announce the release of their new duo CD, Dream Shadows, in which they continue their long-standing love affair with the pre-war music of the rural American South, at the intersection of country blues, string band music, and Cajun dance tunes! Eric and Suzy fronted the legendary Blue Flame String Band. http:////www.ericandsuzy.com/

Stevie Coyle was a co-founder of the Waybacks, fronting them as a songwriter and vocalist, as well as rhythm and fingerstyle lead guitarist. He recently left the Waybacks and branched out as a solo singer-songwriter.

His debut CD, "Ten-in-One", is being released this month. This is a concept album, ostensibly about a trip to a sideshow and back. The cast includes Mike Marshall (David Grisman Darol Anger, Choro Famoso) on mandolin, Sam Bevan (Grisman, Joe Craven, Matt Flinner) on bass, Philip Aaberg (Windham Hill, Eugene Friesen) on accordion, Hank Roberts (Bill Frisell) on cello, Kit Walker (Kundalini Boombox, Airto Moreira) on keys, Kendrick Freeman (Allison Brown) on drums, Heidi Clare (AtAGallop, Reeltime Travelers) on fiddle, Dr. Robby Virus (Project Pimiento) on theremin, Marla Fibish (Three Mile Stone) on mandolin, Rich DePaolo (Ten Sleep) on electric guitar, mixing and mastering, Mike Phelan (Marley's Ghost), Corinne West, Teresa Tudury, Misty Browning and Rachel Tree on vocals. Walter Strauss produced and plays guitar and sings. I play guitar, lap steel and sing.

In this performance Stevie will be accompanied by Kit Walker on Keyboards, Kendrick Freeman on drums, and Sam Bevan on bass and harmony vocals. Since, in an earlier incarnation, Stevie was also a stand-up comedian (The Regan Brothers with Roy Zimmerman), expect also a lot of funny stuff!

Party for Ten In One Former rhythm, fingerstyle and lap steel guitarist / vocalist with and co-founder of The Waybacks and solo performer. Co-conspirators over the years have included Roy Zimmerman, The Foremen, Bob Frassetto and The Back Room Boys, Rory McNamara and The Frontmen, Marla Fibish & Jamie Bell and The Heart Of The Roll and Doug Adamz. Stevie Coyle (late of the whiz-bang string band The Waybacks) is one lucky bum. His dad ran a radio station in southern California and brought home all the promo LPs that didn't fit the Spanish-language format. The Ventures' Guitar Freakout, The 50 Guitars of Tommy Garrett and Alvin And The Chipmunks Play The Beatles' Hits all came home on a single fateful day. It didn't hurt, either, that string-meister David Lindley played in a bluegrass band that rehearsed right next door and gave Stevie his very first lessons, or that his dear Granny was a pianist in the heyday of vaudeville and that his sainted mother was a whiz in mandolin orchestras during the 1930s. In 1999 he co-founded and fronted The Waybacks and toured steadily with them from 2001 through 2007. His first solo CD, called Ten-In-One, is produced by singer/songwriter and guitar guru Walter Strauss. www.steviecoyle.com
